Website design in Dubai costs anywhere from AED 1,500 for a single landing page to AED 60,000 or more for a custom agency build. The spread confuses business owners, so here are the real 2026 ranges I see as a freelance web designer in Dubai, what each tier includes, the costs people forget, and how to decide what you actually need.
Website design cost in Dubai: 2026 price ranges
- Landing page (one page, built for ads): AED 1,500 to AED 3,500 from a freelancer; AED 4,000 to AED 10,000 from an agency.
- Business website, 5 to 10 pages (WordPress): AED 4,000 to AED 12,000 from an experienced freelancer; AED 15,000 to AED 40,000 from an agency.
- Corporate website, 15 to 40 pages, bilingual: AED 12,000 to AED 25,000 freelance; AED 40,000 to AED 100,000 agency.
- E-commerce store (Shopify or WooCommerce): AED 8,000 to AED 15,000 for up to 50 products; AED 15,000 to AED 40,000 for large catalogues, bilingual stores or ERP and POS integrations. Agencies typically start at AED 25,000.
- Custom web application: from AED 30,000, scoped per project.
- DIY builders (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify themes): AED 50 to AED 150 per month plus your time; fine for a hobby, rarely enough for a business that needs leads.
What changes the price
- Number of pages and unique layouts. Ten pages on three templates cost far less than ten custom-designed pages.
- Content. Copywriting, photography and translation into Arabic are often the biggest hidden items. Writing a 10-page site is a week of work.
- Bilingual English and Arabic. Right-to-left layouts and translated content typically add 30 to 50%.
- Integrations. CRM, booking systems, payment gateways, WhatsApp automation, ERP or POS connections each add scope.
- E-commerce complexity. Product count, variants, shipping rules by emirate, gateways such as Telr, PayTabs, Tabby and Tamara, and delivery integrations.
- SEO and tracking. Proper on-page SEO, schema, GA4 and Tag Manager setup should be included; if they are quoted as extras, ask why.
- Who builds it. Freelancers charge less because there is no office or account-management overhead; agencies charge more and sometimes bring larger teams for large projects.
Costs people forget
- Domain: AED 50 to AED 150 per year (.com) or AED 100 to AED 200 (.ae).
- Hosting: AED 300 to AED 1,500 per year for a business site on good shared or cloud hosting; more for high-traffic stores.
- Premium plugins and themes: AED 200 to AED 1,500 per year, depending on the stack.
- Maintenance: updates, backups, security and small changes, typically AED 300 to AED 1,000 per month if outsourced.
- Shopify subscription: from around AED 130 per month plus transaction fees.
- Content updates and new landing pages as campaigns change.
Timelines
A landing page takes 3 to 7 days. A business website takes 2 to 4 weeks. An online store takes 4 to 8 weeks. Agencies often quote 6 to 12 weeks for the same scope because of approval layers. The most common delay on any project is waiting for content and images from the client, so prepare those early.
How to choose without overpaying
- Write down the one job the website must do: bookings, calls, WhatsApp enquiries or online orders.
- Count the pages you genuinely need in year one. Most service businesses need six to eight.
- Ask every quote to list what is included: design, copy, SEO, tracking, hosting setup, training and revisions.
- Insist that the domain, hosting and site are in your name.
- Ask to see three live sites the designer built, and test them on your phone.
- Compare on cost per page and on what happens after launch, not on the total alone.
My own quotes for landing pages, business websites and stores are on the web design page, and every project includes SEO, tracking and hosting in your name. If you want a fixed price for your project, send me a short brief through the contact page and you will have it within 24 hours.
